About This Item
A pair of classic jade stud earrings crafted in 9ct yellow gold. These earrings are simple and elegant and suitable for everyday wear. They feature a four claw setting with a round cut dyed green green jadeite cabochon gemstone on a frame of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The earrings measure 3.50mm in diameter.
These earrings have a post and butterfly clip and are suitable for pierced ears.

Jade had an important role in Chinese medicine. Around 500AD, doctors of Chinese medicine believed that drinking tonics containing jade could treat asthma and diabetes.
