Two gemset halos of marcasite are a dazzling border to these expertly set tear drop amethyst gemstones. These earrings have a fishhook and are suitable for pierced ears only.
Gemstone Information
Amethyst name comes from the root the Greek word 'amethustos', which means "to not become drunk", as it was believed amethyst prevented intoxication.
Amethyst is the perfect gift for those with a February birthstone, and is the assigned gemstone for a 6th anniversary.
Amethyst has been found in burial sites daring back to 2400BC, making it a historical loved gemstone.
